Charges After Elderly Woman Hit

A 60-year-old Windsor man faces a charge of failing to yield after a garbage truck struck an elderly woman.
The 79-year-old woman was walking across Central Ave. at Temple Dr. around 11:15am Tuesday. Police say the driver saw her, but couldn’t stop in time.
She suffered a fractured pelvis.
