Abduction Attempt Under Investigation

Police in Windsor need the public’s help after a woman reported an attempted abduction in Old Riverside.
The woman says she was walking along Wyandotte St. E at Ford Blvd. around 7pm Wednesday when a man came up behind her and forced her into a vehicle. She escaped a few blocks down the road when the vehicle stopped at a red light.
Police hope to release more information about the incident Thursday afternoon.
