Windsor police have resolved a brief standoff situation that blocked-off two intersections in the Walkerville area.
When police entered the apartment unit, they say nobody was inside. No arrests have been made and police are searching for a person of interest.
Earlier Wednesday afternoon, police say a man refused to come out of a small apartment unit in the 1000-block of Lincoln Rd. shortly before 3pm.
Initial reports to police suggest the man had a BB gun. The intersections of Ontario St. and Lincoln Rd., as well as Richmond St. and Windermere Rd., were closed for a short time, but have since reopened.
No injuries have been reported.
