Police in Windsor say stunt drivers kept them very busy over the weekend with seven drivers charged for going at least 50km/hr over the speed limit on the E.C.Row Exwy.

It started around 4:20pm Friday when officers clocked a motorcycle travelling at 154km/hr in the eastbound lanes of the expressway at Dougall Ave. It was followed up by one other incident Friday night, two on Saturday and three on Sunday.

The fastest driver was allegedly doing 178km/hr, 78km/hr over the speed limit, in a white Mercedes at 12:25am Sunday.

The posted speed limit on the E.C.Row is 100km/hr.
