A year after Kevin Kugathasan was stabbed to death at a downtown Windsor intersection, a 24-year-old man will be sentenced for assault in connection to his violent death.
Abdul Rahman Al-Bousaleh’s lawyer entered a guilty plea on his behalf in a Windsor courtroom. Al-Bousaleh is in court October 30 for sentencing.
Kugathasan, 19, was killed in a confrontation between two groups of men October 19, 2013 on Pelissier St. near University Ave. that injured five other men.
Three other men face charges in the death including Dwayne Nicholas Pearce who faces first-degree murder charges. Pearce is in court next on November 20.
