O’Maggio’s Kildare House is holding a kick-off party for the release of City of Roses III, a CD made entirely by local bands and musicians.RocktoberFest will feature musicians from the CD like Huladog and Cowboys in Cardigans. Curator of the CD Jamie Reaume says he is thankful for the support the Kildare House offers local musicians.

“What I wanted to do is in this third installment was put together the finest collection of tunes that are new from artists around town that are releasing music right now. It’s 11 tracks and fantastic to listen to.”

The event is October 26, 2014 from 12pm to 11pm, admission is $10 which includes a copy of the CD. All proceeds from the event and CD will go to the Music Therapy Department at local hospitals.
