The Leamington Flyers won their home opener, getting by St. Thomas 3-1.

Alex Derksen, Thomas Virban, and Kyle Perkowski scored for Leamington.

Trevor Wheaton had a quiet night in net for the Flyers, facing just 15 shots.

Leamington is off until Sunday when they head to Chatham to face the Maroons in their home opener.
