Spits Open Pre-Season Today

The Windsor Spitfires play their first pre-season game against the Plymouth Whalers and defenseman Logan Stanley is both excited and nervous.
Stanley is new to the Ontario Hockey League and took part in training camp this past week with the Windsor Spitfires. It will be his first time on the ice in the league. “I’m a little bit nervous, but I think that’s expected,” he says. “I mean, I’m nervous but I’m also a little bit excited. It’s going to be a good opportunity.”
Last season, Windsor and Plymouth met eight times in regular play. The Spitfires won five of those matchups.
This season, the two teams are scheduled to meet six times.
