Logan Pleased To Join Spitfires

It’s day four of training camp and centre Logan Brown says he’s thrilled to play with the Windsor Spitfires.
The Spitfires introduced Brown Wednesday, a day after the team acquired him from the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for six draft picks.
Brown says he asked for a trade because he wanted to be a little closer to home: Chesterfield, Missouri. “It was kind of, a tough situation. It was pretty far away from Niagara,” he says. “I just kind of started exploring the league and exploring teams, and I asked for a trade. It seemed like Windsor was the best spot for me.”
Brown is on the ice Saturday when the team plays its first exhibition game of the season against the Whalers in Plymouth.
