401 Reopened, Leamington Trucker Charged

A 46-year-old Leamington trucker faces careless driving charges after a tractor trailer crash forced the 401 to close near Woodstock.
The westbound lanes were shut down at Sweaburg Rd. close to 4am after one tractor trailer rear ended another.
No one was hurt.
The collision caused diesel fuel to spill onto the highway, requiring cleanup by the Ministry of Environment. The road reopened around 8:35am.
