Folk Fest Takes Over Kingsville

The first day of the Kingsville Folk Festival is in the books and thousands are expected back at Lakeside Park for day two.
Organizer John Law says they sold 2,000 tickets before the show and excitement is building. “250 volunteers; it was a bit of a dream for the last two years, but today everyone seems to have just come over a hump and realized this is really happening.”
Gates open at noon with showcase events through the day. Entertainment on the main stage begins at 6pm.
The festival wraps up tomorrow.
