Long Weekend Drinking & Driving Charges

Essex County OPP are charging six people with drunk driving related offenses, making the arrests over the long weekend.
In one case on Sunday, a car hit a home on Bruce Ave. in Leamington after skidding onto the front lawn. No one was hurt.
In another case, a vehicle speeding on Maidstone Ave. in Essex was stopped by police.
A Windsor man, a Tecumseh man and two men from Essex and two men from Leamington are all charged. All will appear in court in August.
