A 24-year-old Windsor woman is facing two counts of attempted murder after two men were hit by a car in a parking lot near Wyandotte St. and Pelissier St. in Windsor early Sunday morning.

A 31-year-old Windsor man is in serious condition suffering from head trauma while a 30-year-old man, also from Windsor, has since been released from hospital after both being hit by a car.

Police say one of the men got into an altercation with a woman in the area of Wyandotte St. and Ouellette Ave. shortly after 3am,  before he and his friend left.

Witnesses report seeing a woman get into her parked car, a green Honda, and drive directly at the two men walking in a parking lot near Pelissier St., west of Wyandotte St.

The suspect is to be arraigned in court on Monday where the anticipated charges are expected to be formally laid.
