Expected Mayoral Bid By Councillor

Essex Councillor Bill Baker is expected to announce today that he will run for mayor in this fall’s municipal election.
Baker has scheduled a media conference this morning at the Canadian Transportation Museum to announce his intentions.
Baker is in his first term on council and has worked in communications for the past 10 years. Previously he worked in the mayor’s office at the City of Windsor.
Baker is a Harrow resident and is up against incumbent Ron McDermott, former councillor Ron Rogers and former reporter Andy Comber.
