The Windsor Stars close out their four game home stand on a winning note finishing on the right side of a 2-0 decision against Masters FA Saints.

“I was actually thinking goal,” says Brydon Caesar, the Stars striker opening the scoring early in the game. “I wanted to shoot first time, but I looked at the position, seeing where the goalie was so, I brought it down and scored.”

Caesar feels the team is really starting to gel.

“All we’ve been doing is practing with intensity, so¬†we’re expecting nothing less than a win. Ties are pretty much just a loss. We’re getting better and better.”

New star signing Danny Dragoi added the other goal.

The Stars are now second in the League1 Ontario standings with four wins and two draws after Vaughan Azzurri suffered their first loss of the season and TFC Academy beat the Woodbridge Strikers 2-1, leaving the Stars and TFC Academy as the only undefeated teams in the league.
