Art Walk Marches On

The 12th annual Walkerville Art Walk & Rock runs today and tomorrow. Walkerville BIA spokesperson Joan Charette says it continues to grow in attendance and business and artist participation each year.
“I just think there’s a whole love local scene and it’s farm fresh and ‘foodies,'” says Charette. “It’s also been a great support of local art and to my knowledge I think this is the biggest art show for artists to go in and we don’t charge them.”
The event is free and features a wide array of local artists and local businesses. Charette says additions to the event this year include a wine and brew tent and mini putting.
Things get underway at 6pm and it will shutdown Wyandotte St. E between Gladstone Ave. and Devonshire Rd.
