The Windsor Spitfires are adding a big power forward who plays with a physical edge.

At least that’s the way 18-year-old centre Brandon Shea describes himself.

The 6-2, 210 lbs. Massachusetts-native was the 13th overall pick in the 2011 QMJHL draft. He played for the Moncton Wildcats and Quebec Remparts, posting seven goals and 14 assists in 82 games.

The Spits claimed Shea through the CHL Player Transfer process. GM Warren Rychel says, “this is an opportunity for a fresh start for a player who has been very highly touted in the past.”
