Disappointing Draw For Stars At Home

The Windsor Stars are disappointed in drawing ANB Futbol 1-1 at home Saturday night in their League1 Ontario match.

Striker Mike Pio scored for the Stars off a free-kick, but had a penalty shot saved which led to an ANB player being sent off for arguing with the referee.

“Honestly, this is a loss for us. They went a man down. Especially at home, we need to pick up three points every single time,” says Pio. “It’s a bad result for us, but we’ll just move forward from here.”

The Stars are still undefeated on the year with two wins and two draws.
