F.J. Brennan High School sports academy is now officially licensed as a Hockey Canada Skills Academy.

Starting in September, the school will offer a specialized hockey and figure skating program through Central Park Athletics.

Director of Program Kevin Hamlin says there only 73 licensed programs throughout the country. “Any time you partner with Hockey Canada, it elevates the status of the program to a whole new level. The Hockey Canada brand is one of the most famous in the world and to partner with them and to utilize their curriculum and their resources is just a great opportunity.”

Registration to the program is still open for both secondary and middle school aged students.
