The Windsor Stars are playing their first League1 Ontario game in front of their home fans this season on Saturday night.

The home opener is against Toronto International, a team Stars head coach Steve Vagnini feels his players should be hungry to beat after a 2-2 tie in the season opener on May 31.

“Anybody that isn’t won’t be playing because that’s the best feeling in the world when you get a little bit of redemption,” says Vagnini. “We get to prove to ourselves that we did deserve to win that game.

Kickoff is set for 7pm at McHugh Park in Windsor.
