The world’s best divers will compete in Windsor this weekend in the FINA Diving World Series.
This is the fifth stop in a series of six competitions that allow the 70 athletes to come together and perform their best dives.
Team Canada athlete Roseline Filion says this competition is among the top in the world. “It helps us to see ourselves with the other divers. It’s the top eight in the world that are here and competing throughout the year along the other divers the best in the world, it’s the best preparation going into the World Cup this summer, and the Commonwealth Games.”
The synchro diving events get underway today at 1pm. The 3-metre finals happen on Saturday and the 10-metre finals are on Sunday.
