Registration is open for the 17th Annual Joe Hogan Memorial Golf and Fun Day.

Tickets are $170 which includes golf and a dinner, with all proceeds going to the Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.

Dan Hogan lost his mother Sharon to cancer two years ago, and says part of this year’s money will go toward wigs for chemotherapy patients. “My mother took some radiation, she was losing her hair, and so we had a girl come up with some wigs. She put the wig on and all of the sudden the wigs lead to her wanting eye lashes, and she wanted this and she wanted that. It really hit home with us.”

The charity tournament will be held at three courses: Sutton Creek Golf Club, Roseland Golf and Curling Club and the Ambassador golf club, on September 11.
