Windsor police have released descriptions of two suspects after a mugging at Sandwich St. and Brock St.

Police say two women approached the victim around 2:30pm Tuesday after she got off a Transit Windsor bus.  They demanded her purse. After punching the victim in the face and grabbing the purse, they ran off towards Sandwich St. and Chippewa St.

The first suspect is described as:

– a white woman, 5’7″ and 160 lbs with short black hair

– wearing jeans, a plain navy t-shirt and possibly a hoop earring in her right ear.

The second suspect is described as:

– a white woman, 5’6″ and 140 lbs

– had a small build and long curly hair in a ponytail

– wearing baggy jogging pants and a white t-shirt with a design on it.

The purse is large, gold and red and has a magnetic flap.
