City Wide Grafitti Clean-up

The City of Windsor Parks and Recreation department is embarking on a two week graffiti blitz throughout the city.

Now that most pot holes are fixed and sidewalks are clean workers will focus on cleaning up city spaces.

Director of Parks and Facilities John Miceli says $150,000 is dedicated in the budget each year to graffiti removal. “We’ve got our contractors engaged and our staff working on assessing and removing the graffiti as quickly as possible. Once again the goal is to get it done in the next two weeks and then we’ll maintain it on a go forward basis.”

Miceli says residents can call 311 with the location of any unsightly grafitti in their neighbourhood.
