Police Investigate Dog’s Death

Ontario Provincial Police officers in Lakeshore want to talk to a woman who owns two dogs that mauled a smaller dog at the Maidstone Conservation Area.
The owner of a Chihuahua was walking her pet around 1pm last Sunday when the small dog was attacked by a silver brindle Great Dane/Pitbull mix and a black and brown German Shepherd. The Chihuahua didn’t survive the attack. The owner of the two larger dogs identified herself as “Susan.”
Police ask anyone who may know the owner of the two dogs to call Constable Paul Crilley at the Lakeshore OPP Detachment at 519-728-1810.
