Additional Charges for Constable Bshouty

Windsor Police Services Constable David Bshouty is facing additional drug possession charges from his own service.

Bshouty was charged in the U.S. with allegedly smuggling crack cocaine over the border on Saturday, April 12 and spent multiple days in jail in Michigan.

Windsor police are now charging Bshouty in relation to a small quantity of tablets suspected to be Oxycodone, a prescription narcotic.

He will appear in a Windsor court in May 2014 in relation to the charge. Bshouty remains suspended with pay according to the Police Service Act.
