Structural Report Needed

The Town of Essex is moving forward with a engineering study of the Essex Memorial Arena as they consider future uses for the building.
Two interested parties have come forward with uses for the arena that do not include ice. The Essex Ravens and Hurricaines Soccer would like to see the facility transformed into a multi-recreational facility.
Linda Iler who’s looking to start a military museum says they were asked to put together a business plan as the structural report is being finished. “We’ve got enough sports facilities and my hope would be that the town would consider the culture and heritage aspect of this building and use it as a museum.”
The structural report should come back to council in one to two months.
