Lacrosse League Hopes For Popularity

The Sun County Crows lacrosse association hopes the number of kids signed up will increase now that they’ve moved to the Kingsville arena.
The lacrosse association has had issues getting enough kids for the league, but they expect a more central county location will make a difference.
Association President Billy Byron says they have had parents tell them Leamington was too far to drive. “We draw from Essex, Harrow, Kingsville, Leamington. We’re hoping that Kingsville, being in the middle of Harrow and Essex, will help us draw more kids from those towns.”
Byron says lacrosse is a great sport for kids who enjoy the contact and eye coordination of hockey.
