Spits Adding Size In Draft (VIDEO)

The Windsor Spitfires are bringing in 6’6″, 209 lbs defenceman Logan Stanley with their 12th overall pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
Stanley played for the Waterloo Wolves notching eight goals, 28 points and 95 penalty minutes in 28 games last season.
“He’ll come right in, but his projection is as high as an NHL first round pick,” says Warren Rychel, general manager for the Windsor Spitfires. “We feel we’re getting pushed around a bit back there you know last couple years and he’s a perfect guy, perfect fit, he’s a Windsor Spitfire.”
In the second round with the 26th pick the Spitfires took 6’0″, 198 lbs winger Daniil Verity who scored 15 goals and 28 points for the North York Rangers last season. The Spits finished the top two rounds with the 40th overall pick, taking 5’8″, 150lbs centre Clayton Keller who notched 28 goals and 60 points in 39 games for Shattuck St. Mary’s Prep School.
