Hundreds Relocated Before Strike Deadline

It’s back to business at Caesars Windsor after hundreds of guests staying at the hotel were relocated ahead of the strike deadline with Unifor Local 444.

The two sides reached a tentative deal around 2am Friday, following a marathon bargaining session at the Holiday Inn Select on Huron Church Rd.

Hours before, guests were relocated to the Waterfront Hotel further west on Riverside Dr., including Victoria Norback who is booked to perform with her group “Arrival” at the Collosseum Friday night. ”

The union says its 2,300 members will vote on the tentative deal Tuesday in three sessions at the Caboto Club. Those votes are scheduled to take place at 11am, 3pm and 7pm.
