ERCA Issues Flood Watch

April 3, 2014 11:32am
The Essex Region Conservation Authority is issuing a flood watch for Windsor-Essex.
Around 20-35mm of rain is predicted in the next 24 hours which could cause flooding in waterways and low lying areas.
Drains, culverts and some waterways may also still be affected by ice and have the possibility of ice jamming. ERCA is urging people to take extra caution as any ice that is remaining will be unstable and dangerous.
The flood watch is in effect until Saturday at 9:00 am.
