The Leamington Flyers are in Chatham tonight for Game 4 against the Maroons in the GOJHL West Final.

The Flyers are up 2-1 in the series and Head Coach Tony Piroski says his team needs to be ready for a battle.

“You know naturally, we’re up 2-1, they’re going back home so they’re going to come out the way they did last game [Game 2 in Chatham] and I’m not saying we weren’t ready for it last game but, they just took it to us early,” says Piroski.

“Our powerplay isn’t working right now,” says Mark Davis, the Maroons head coach happy with the even strength play of his team but, pushing for more production with the man advantage. “We got to get that thing going. We had a couple powerplays where we got to bury it.”

Heading into Game 4, the Flyers are coming off of a 5-4 win on home ice after almost giving up an early three goal lead. Puck-drop is set for 7pm at Chatham Memorial Arena.
