Suspect Caught With Stolen Goods

An alert neighbour gets the credit for the quick arrest after a break and enter on Randolph Ave. in Windsor.

Windsor police received a call around 1pm Wednesday after a witness spotted a suspicious man leaving a home in the 400-block with a guitar strapped to his back. Officers stopped the man just minutes later at the corner of Wyandotte St. W and Randolph.

When they went back to the house, a tenant told officers he heard someone walk in but assumed it was a roommate. That’s when he discovered a guitar was missing from the living room. A search of the suspect also turned up a bottle of perfume and two stainless steel watches.

Justin Moxon, 29, is charged with break and enter, and possession of stolen property.
