A St. Paddy’s Night For Police
It was a busier than normal Monday night for Windsor police as thousands flocked to bars and pubs celebrating the luck of the Irish.
Windsor police officials say St. Patrick’s Day was roughly as busy as an average Saturday night, with a lot of people at the downtown Windsor bars and in the west end.
Several fights in the downtown area were broken up and the regular disorderly conduct that comes along with a bar crowd on a busy night.
One impaired driving charge was laid and a car hit a flower planter at Monmouth Rd. and Tuscarora St. around 1:30am. No one was hurt in the crash.
