Snowfall Warning in Effect

Portions of Ontario continue to experience significant snowfall.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Owen Sound-Blue Mountains-Northern Grey County for Sunday night into Monday morning.

Snow will fall at times rather heavily until after midnight Sunday, then taper off before dawn Monday, according to Environment Canada.  Total snowfall will vary between 15cm and 20cm.

Road conditions may become treacherous in some areas.  If travel is necessary, allow extra time to get to your destination, make sure your lights are in good working order, slow down and give yourself plenty of space between your vehicle and any in front of you.

Environment Canada says snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
