Legionnaires announce award winners without banquet, Degurse MVP

The Sarnia Legionnaires have handed out their season-ending awards, despite not being able to hold their banquet due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Forward Nolan DeGurse earned the Sharon Williamson Memorial "Most Valuable Player" award.

He also captured the team's Leading Point Scorer award, donated by Micor Sports.

During his third full season with the team, the 18-year-old scored an impressive 37 goals and added 31 assists in 37 games played.

He has a GOJHL career total of 72 goals and 59 assists over 128 regular-season games.
