The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a deal for a new goaltender.
The Buds acquired Jack Campbell as well as forward Kyle Clifford from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Trevor Moore, a 2020 third-round pick, and a 2021 conditional third-round pick Wednesday night.
Campbell, a Port Huron native, spent his OHL career with the Windsor Spitfires and Sault St. Marie Greyhounds, and was a first round pick of the Dallas Stars in 2010.
The 28-year-old has posted a 2.85 goals against average and a .900 save percentage in 20 games with the Kings this season.
