The Saginaw Spirit will help spread Christmas spirit when they visit the Sting at Progressive Auto Sales Arena Friday night.

It’s the 22nd annual Teddy Bear Toss Game.

Organizers are hoping to collect a record 4,500 stuffed toys for children in need.

To date, over 63,000 toys have been collected for local charities including the Salvation Army, St. Clair Child and Youth, and Pathway’s Health Centre for Children.

Fans will toss stuffed toys onto the ice when the Sting score their first goal against the Saginaw Spirit, at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Puck drop is 7:05 p.m.
