How The Lions Can Make The Playoffs

The Detroit Lions (8-6) enter their week 16 matchup against the Bengals one game back of the final playoff spot.

Their odds of making the postseason sit at 14%, and even if  they win their remaining games against Cincinnati and Green Bay, they're chances only improve to around 35%.

However, much crazier things have happened in the sports world, so let's see what needs to fall in line for Lions to earn a playoff spot assuming they finish at 10-6.

Option 1:

Falcons lose twice (@NOrl, vsCar)

Option 2:

1. Panthers or Saints lose twice and Seahawks or Cowboys win twice

(Carolina plays @TBay, @Atl-- New Orleans plays vs.Atl, @TBay--Seattle play @Dall, vs.Ariz--Dallas plays @Philly next week)

Option 3:

If 4 or 5 teams tie at 10-6, Detroit would make it because of a tiebreaker.
