Sting 'Bitten' In Flint, Fall In OT

The Sarnia Sting returns from Flint with a single point after Will Bitten capped off his three goal night with a penalty shot goal 3:40 into overtime.

Sarnia got goals from Daniel Nikandrov and Pavel Zacha, while Hayden Hodgson picked up a pair of assists.

Zacha also had an assist in his second game back with the Sting since being returned to junior by the New Jersey Devils.

Aiden Hughes made his first career OHL start, stopping 18 of 21 shots while Alex Nedelijkovic was solid in the Firebirds net and was named second star.

The Sting outshot Flint 29-21.

Sarnia (4-2-1) finishes their three game weekend Sunday when they host Sudbury at 2pm.
