Lambton Shores Lose Captain To OJHL

The Lambton Shores Predators are left without a captain after Ty Jackson was moved to the Trenton Golden Hawks of the OJHL.

This was Jackson’s second year with Lambton Shores, his first as team captain.

Preds GM Roop Chanderdat says they’ll miss Jackson on the hockey club, but it was a good opportunity for him and allows him to move back to the blue line.

Chanderdat expects the 1996 born Jackson will play a depth role on the back end for the league leading Golden Hawks.

Jackson had 19 points in 25 games with Lambton Shores this season.

Chanderdat despite trading their captain he doesn’t see a lack of leadership on the Predators. He says the team still has several guys with leadership qualities.
