Sting Fall Against Visiting 67’s

The Ottawa 67’s scored four goals in the third period enroute to a 6-1 victory over the Sarnia Sting Saturday night at the RBC Centre.

Sting head coach Trevor Letowski feels his team deserved a better fate in the scoreless first period.

The Sting were penalized four times in the second period.

Erik Bradford struck twice and added two assists for Ottawa.

Tyler Hill, Artur Tyanulin, Brendan Bell and Dante Salituro also scored for the 67’s (5-6-0).

Nikita Korostelev scored for Sarnia (4-6-2) at 19:48 of the third period to spoil Leo Lazerev’s shutout bid.

The Sting outshot the 67’s 39-26.

Sarnia is idle until Thursday when they visit Barrie, followed by Sudbury on Friday and North Bay Sunday.
