The Toronto Maple Leafs have avoided salary arbitration with restricted free agent defenceman Cody Franson.
They’ve signed the 26 year old blue liner to a one year deal worth 3.3 million dollars.
Franson scored 5 goals and 28 assists in 79 games last season.
