The Sarnia Sting came out flying in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals Friday night but couldn't keep up with the London Knights.
Two third period goals by Denver Barkey and Ryan Winterton propelled the Knights to a 5-2 victory, putting the Sting at risk of elimination.
London now leads the best-of-7 series three games to two heading into Game 6 on Sunday afternoon in Sarnia.
The Sting outshot London 14-5 in the opening frame, with London rookie Zach Bowen stopping all 14 shots that came his way.
Ruslan Gazizov opened the scoring for London after missing Games 2, 3 and 4 of the series due to illness
Nolan Dillingham and Sasha Pastujov provided Sarnia goals
