Free comic books will be distributed at Lambton County Libraries that are open Saturday, May 6.
Youth Public Services Coordinator Vanitia Campbell said graphic novels are a popular choice for readers today, with storylines capturing everything from fantasy to lived experience.
“Participating in Free Comic Book Day is a great tradition that inspires new readers and celebrates the genre," Campbell said.
A range of titles, appealing to all ages and interests, will be available including; Spider-Man, Avengers, and Dog Man.
Free Comic Book Day has been held on the first Saturday of May each year for over 20 years.
