The Sarnia Sting just couldn’t pull off a win Friday night for the Western Conference final opener against the London Knights.
The Knights, who were down 1-0 in the first period, turned around and won the game with four unanswered goals for a 4-1 victory in Game 1 at Budweiser Gardens.
Sarnia outshot London 14-6 and 13-7 in the first and third periods, but the Knights controlled the shot clock 12-6 in the second.
The Sting's defence had a hard time reacting to London's offensive zone.
