Live music held in support of 'Waylon's Wish'

Another fundraiser to support the family of a local toddler is being held in Sarnia this weekend.

Local bands will perform at Rüstr Music Hall on Sunday, March 26 for a fundraiser called "Waylon’s Wish."

Waylon Saunders survived a near drowning earlier this year after he fell into an icy backyard pool, while at an at-home daycare in Petrolia.

Since then, multiple community members have rallied together by reaching out to the family directly or by hosting fundraising initiatives.

Waylon’s Wish will feature live music door prizes and 50/50 draws.

Doors open at 1 p.m., and the first band is expected to begin playing at 1:30 p.m.

Entrance will be by donation at the door.

Rüstr Music Hall is located on London Line, near Brigden Road.
