Local COVID case count holding steady

The average number of positive COVID-19 cases locally is holding steady.
In its weekly update, Lambton Public Health reported 24 new lab confirmed cases of the virus.
The average number of positive infections is unchanged from last week at three.
Since the start of the pandemic over three years ago, there have been 14,926 cases reported in Sarnia-Lambton and 175 related deaths.
As of Wednesday, there were fewer than five COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health.
