Lambton Public Health reported the latest fatality in its weekly update on Wednesday. An individual in their 50s died in hospital.
The health unit reported 25 new lab confirmed cases of the virus, for a total of 14,902 since the start of the pandemic three years ago.
The average number of positive cases is holding steady at around four.
Bluewater Health is caring for fewer than five COVID-positive patients.
There are two active outbreaks. The most recent was declared on Sunday, March 12 at Country Manor Estates Retirement Home in Lambton Shores.
