Plympton-Wyoming's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Fire Chief will be away from their roles for an unspecified amount of time.
Mayor Gary Atkinson told Sarnia News Today late Thursday afternoon that CAO Carolyn Tripp is on sick leave.
It was also confirmed that Fire Chief Darryl Thompson was placed on an administrative leave.
Atkinson could not comment on if the two internal events were related or not.
He did confirm that internal investigations will be done but couldn't specify any further details.
Township officials have not yet confirmed who will take over for Tripp and Thompson in the interim.
